Why is there no phone number?
We currently are only conducting business over email for a few different reasons, listed below.
We know that some customers are not comfortable purchasing from an online business without a phone number, and if that's a deal-breaker for you then we're sorry we can't do business right now.
What we do offer instead is fast responses over email (usually within 3-4 hours during out customer service hours, and generally within 24 hours outside of those), 30 day returns, and you get all the usual purchase protection that your credit card provider offers if you pay that way. You can also see nearly 2,000 reviews, as of writing, linked from our About Us page.
So, why is there no phone number?
- We work on a flexible schedule, focused on processing orders and shipping quickly, and then being able to respond to emails across as many hours as possible. Being able to answer or make calls in a timely manner takes up a significant amount of time that would require us to bring on more staff, and charge more.
Until we get to a point where we have enough staff coverage to be able to answer the phone in a timely manner, not leave you listening to a busy signal or on hold for endless periods of time, or not be able to return any missed calls quickly it's not something we are going to offer. - By using email we have everything in writing - So any promises we make, agreements, or any other information is clearly understood by everyone, especially if multiple people from our side handle your question. This also helps make sure things don't get lost.
- Unfortunately we have had to deal with angry, abusive, threatening, and general disrespectful behavior which seems to be amplified over phone calls. We do not tolerate this, if it ever originated from one of us, or from a customer, and have found that using email helps curb this behavior to a certain extent.
