Customers with a valid Tax Exempt certificate can apply to have your account enabled for Tax Exemption through the following process:
Step 1 – If you don’t already have an account on our site, the first step is to create one. You can register an account by clicking on the My Account link at the top of any page.
Step 2 – Once your account is created, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address that you registered with our site, and state that you’re requesting to be tax exempt. We’ll also need a copy of your tax exemption certificate for each shipping address.
After we review your tax exemption certificate(s) we will change your account to Tax Exempt. Please allow 48 hours for this to happen, and we’ll email you to confirm everything is setup on our side.
Step 3 – Go shopping! When you get to the checkout page, you’ll see a new ‘Tax Exempt’ option at the bottom of the page. If you don’t see it, make sure you’re logged in with the account that you send to us in Step 2. Once you add/select a Tax Exempt certificate, the checkout price will update and you should see the tax disappear.
